MMA is a welding technique in which an electric arc is created between the coated welding electrode and the workpiece.
The electrode flows on the workpiece through the welding arc, the coating (sheath) of the electrode protects the weld seam against oxygen penetration.
The slag covers the surface of the weld and should be removed with a pick hammer after solidification.
MMA welding is mainly used in outdoor construction welding, in the agricultural sector, by the DIYer, and for welding various alloys, other than a production process.
Good to use in the ATLAS inverters from 160 to 400 AMP.
