JAVAC NM-8500-B
The NM-8500-B from JAVAC is a powerful and reliable Nanomag generator designed for professional and residential use. This 3 x 400V version provides a stable power supply and starts motors up to 5.5 kW (7.5 hp) with ease. Thanks to its advanced technology, low consumption, and compact design, the NM-8500-B generator is ideal for applications such as food trucks, mobile workshops, and backup power installations.
The JAVAC Nanomag generators in the 3000 rpm version are available in three models with a rated output of 6 to 9 kW. Thanks to their stabilized power supply, they are ideally suited as an emergency backup generator for residential and professional use.
The key features of the Nanomag generators are their ability to absorb high peak loads and their stable voltage—ideal for applications with sensitive electronics such as sound systems, compressors, light shows, welding equipment, and hydraulic units.
Models from the Nanomag series
NM-7500-A: 230 V single-phase version, with two 16A outlets and one 25A outlet. This generator can effortlessly power any 230V device.
NM-8500-B: 3 x 400 V version with one 400V outlet and two 230V outlets. Thanks to this configuration, the NM-8500-B can effortlessly start a 5.5 kW (7.5 hp) motor.
NM-11000-B: three-phase power generator with a 2-cylinder water-cooled engine. This version delivers performance comparable to a 15 to 20 kVA generator.
The Nanomag generators are particularly suitable for food trucks, service vehicles, or mobile workshops where a heavy-duty compressor or multiple machines are used at the same time. Their compact design and low weight make them extremely practical to use.
Quality and durability
Each NM-8500-B generator comes standard with an electric start system (including battery). A remote control is available as an option. These machines meet the strictest European standards and are equipped with:
Residual current device
Electronic hour meter
Separate grounding loop.
The air-cooled engines have a service life of approximately 5,000 operating hours. After this period, the engine can be easily replaced, allowing for another 5,000 hours of use. The water-cooled engines even achieve a service life of 10,000 operating hours.
Fuel consumption is approximately 1 litre per hour at full load for the NM-7500; for the other models, it is slightly higher. Those who require longer run times are better off choosing a 1500 rpm water-cooled engine—although this comes with a larger size and weight, making it less suitable for mobile applications.
Technical explanation: power and load
Rated power is the power a generator can supply continuously over a longer period. This corresponds to about 90% of the maximum power. Some manufacturers advertise peak power, which can be misleading.
Example: a 4.2 kW generator can briefly deliver 4,600 W, but the recommended continuous power is 4,000 W.
Types of load
Resistive load
Examples: lamps, ovens, cooktops, curling irons, coffee makers, stereos, and TVs. These consume a constant amount of power without requiring additional starting power.Reactive load
Devices with motors, such as compressors, pumps, or refrigerators, require up to three times more power at start-up than during normal operation.
The relationship between watts (W), volts (V), and amperes (A) is calculated as:
Power (W) = Voltage (V) × Current (A)
With reactive loads, this varies depending on the conditions, because the motor draws more current temporarily when starting up.
The JAVAC NM-8500-B generator combines a compact design with powerful performance, a long service life, and exceptionally stable voltage. This makes it ideal for anyone who needs reliable power—from mobile workshops to fixed installations.
