The revolutionary (URRS) Nanotechnology is applied to our new type of welding wire SG-2/NM, by depositing an oxygen repelling film of 5 NM over the surface of the bare wire, just after it exits the wire drawing room without any protection against rusting, this has a significantly better effect against rusting as the conventional coating with a layer of copper, obtained by a copper evaporation on the support (surface welding wire).
This eliminates the negative effects on copper-coated welding wires.
Among other things, this eliminates the processes of heavy toxic manufacturing processes m.e. washing and treating the drawn wire with highly toxic and alkaline acids, etc.
The neutral welding wire we developed, coated with 5 nm does not require this treatment and protects not only the environment, but also the health of welders, by significantly reducing welding fumes.
The anti-corrosion performance of the surface is significantly better, because absolutely no copper traces are introduced into the weld seam, therefore the interaction between carbon steel and the (minute) copper film is completely eliminated, as a result the anti-corrosion performance significantly surpasses the copper coated welding wire.
The well-known phenomena of sticking welding guns, whose spirals contaminated by copper dust caused by the drive wheels clog up, are now a thing of the past.
The excellent wire feed performance, translates into a welding torch that is totally unaffected by vibrations in the handle.
The fact that the welding wire surface has no copper insulator is covered, there is no clogging of copper dust.
The stable wire supply for a much longer time are maintained.
The working environment of employees has improved greatly.
Significantly less to almost no spatter is observed, note also that the weld droplet that forms is much more stable giving the weld pool an optimal result, the spray ARC range is already reached at lower amperage, resulting in a virtually perfect weld even for non-pulsating mig devices, but also especially the environment benefits from this due to less stress in the fabrication of the welding wire as well as in the processing of this welding wire.
The extra cost compared to the conventional SG2 welding wire, is frequently recouped by a sheet of better weld seam on the one hand, as well as by reducing, the footprint on our environment.
