The Atlas 171 has been a bestseller among Javac welding machines for years, with an almost unbelievable output of 100% at 160 A, meaning this machine can be used with electrodes from 3.25 up to even 4.0 mm for prolonged welding jobs.
Equipped with the large Dinse 3550 connectors, which this machine truly needs given the heat build-up in the cables during intensive welding.
This machine is fitted with two potentiometers: one to regulate the power, and the other a shunt control to assist with vertical and horizontal welding; a less fluid weld pool more easily prevents weld droop/dripping.
Power is displayed on a clear LED screen.
The automatic ARC force ensures that even difficult-to-weld electrodes ignite smoothly.
