The JAVAC ATS automatic transfer<\/strong> (Automatic Transfer Switch) ensures a seamless changeover<\/strong> between mains power and generator power in the event of a power outage.
This intelligent switching technology immediately detects a loss of voltage and automatically starts the generator, ensuring your installation is supplied with uninterrupted power<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

How does an ATS automatic transfer work?<\/h3><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The ATS automatic transfer<\/strong> works with a relay that monitors the incoming mains voltage.
When the relay drops out due to a power failure, a second contact\u2014controlled by a time relay\u2014closes and the generator is started automatically.<\/p>\n

Depending on the power rating, JAVAC uses two types of switches:<\/p>\n

    When the generator reaches its operating value (usually 1500 rpm<\/strong>), the second relay closes, and the generator\u2019s power is routed to the load \u2014 for example a home, factory, hospital, or machine park.<\/p>\n

    Safe and automatic operation<\/h3><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The ATS mains transfer<\/strong> automatically switches the load back to the grid as soon as the voltage is restored.
    The timer ensures that the transfer only takes place once the voltage is stable<\/strong>, usually after about one minute<\/strong>.
    After the switchover, the generator continues to run for a few minutes to cool down and then shuts down automatically.
    After that, the system is ready again for the next power outage.<\/p>\n
