How to use a compressed-air hose reel?<\/h3><\/h3>\n
You can mount our compressed-air hose reels to the ceiling, on the wall or on the floor. The reels are supplied as standard with a swivel bracket (wall mounting).<\/p>\n
You can slowly pull out the hose until the desired length is reached. When the reel lock ratchets, you can lock the hose by letting it go. The hose will not retract now. Always pull a few extra metres off the reel for comfortable working.<\/p>\n
You can let the hose retract by pulling it slightly out of the reel and then allowing it to be drawn back in. Caution: never let go of the hose while it is retracting. A whipping hose is dangerous and can cause injury or damage. At the very least, it reduces the service life of the hose, quick coupling or reel, and it is not normal use of a hose reel.<\/p>\n
Tips for a long service life of your compressed-air hose reel:<\/h3><\/h3>\n\n- Make sure the hose can always be pulled out without lateral forces acting on the reel.<\/li>\n
- Always install an easily accessible ball valve upstream of the reel so you can shut it off.<\/li>\n
- All maintenance must be carried out with the reel depressurised.<\/li>\n
- Never open a hose reel (the rewind spring in the drum can cause serious injury).<\/li>\n
- Have repairs carried out only by the importer or trained personnel.<\/li>\n
- Ensure that the supply hose is installed without tension.<\/li>\n
- Make sure you retract the hose as neatly as possible to prevent unnecessary damage to the hose and the reel.<\/li>\n
- The hose is equipped with a hose stopper that you can adjust as desired to set the required free length of hose outside the reel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
